Communications Director (CD)

In this capacity, the CD is tasked with leading a pool of active party members, volunteers, professionals and other stakeholders. The core responsibilities connected to this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating the overarching communication and messaging plan
  • Managing the branding model
  • Overseeing the social media plan
  • Measuring the effectiveness of all recurring activities
  • Crafting and presenting press releases
  • Managing relationships with media outlets
  • Leveraging data to monitor public attitudes
  • Participating in fundraising campaign planning
